There are a number of Special Presentations scheduled for La salle de présentation which is located in the main house accessed from the hospitality verandah. These are proving to be very popular, bookings are essential, but limited seats are available, so you'll need to book quickly.

Author Jayne Tuttle discusses her recent books Paris or Die and My Sweet Guillotine, portraits of living, loving and working in Paris that depict a city far from the postcards. THE FRENCH TEACHER and her lavender

Judy Comley taught French and wrote French textbooks for many years and found that her lavender field on the family farm was a great way to unwind. Over the years, she became extremely knowledgeable about growing and harvesting lavender and its many uses. Judy will share her insights and her personal experiences with this plant that we all associate with France.

Napoleon’s Australian Connection

Join Narelle Russo from Mornington Peninsula Gallery as she discusses the Napoleonic Collection housed at one of the Mornington Peninsula’s oldest properties, The Briars. The collection was assembled by Dame Mabel Brookes the great granddaughter of William Balcombe. Balcombe was posted to the remote island of St Helena where he developed a close relationship with Napoleon when the French Emperor was exiled from 1815. This fascinating collection includes over 500 artifacts associated with Napoleon.
